I met Marta out climbing a few years ago and was immediately drawn in by her energy. I could tell that she experienced life in the way that I longed to and I wanted to know how she did it. I have been on a healing journey for many years, but I had reached plateau. I knew a few of my issues centered around my people pleasing habit, my aversion to conflict and a need to be perfect. These survival mechanisms had been helpful growing up around a lot of addiction, but were causing problems in my relationships as an adult. Although I had been working on them for a while I wasn't able to shed some of the guilt, resentment and frustrations I was still experiencing.

Within the first week I learned how my self judgement and my judgement of others was causing me to hold onto these negative feelings. Over the next few weeks I felt a huge shift in my perception of myself and my circumstances. I think the combination of the guided mindfulness exercises, self reflection and the accountability were instrumental in this shift.
